Free diagnostic

Google says your product link is broken, but it opens fine in your browser. Here are the seven checks to run.

Start with the exact error in Merchant Center. Then walk the five checks on the link, then shipping. This page is a free diagnostic. It does not change your feed. When you want FeedCare to make allowlisted changes for you, request the CAD 149 job.

  1. Read the exact error. In Merchant Center, open one disapproved product and copy the issue text word for word. Note whether it names the link, the landing page, the region or the shipping price.
  2. Check the domain. Compare the product's link with the domain you verified in Merchant Center. Any redirect has to stay on that same domain.
  3. Check Google can crawl it. Make sure robots.txt isn't blocking the product page.
  4. Check the URL itself. It should start with http or https, use plain ASCII, stay under 2,000 characters and encode symbols, so & becomes %26.
  5. Open it like a shopper would. The product details should show right away, with no sign-in or extra step (a legally required age check is the exception).
  6. Try it on mobile and desktop. It has to work on both, even if you also send a mobile_link.
  7. If the error is about shipping, check the region and currency. The region value only works in some countries and goes in without the country prefix (NY, not US-NY). For the UK or Canada, use a postal code or a location group instead. The shipping price should be in the target country's currency.

Change one thing at a time, then let Google reprocess before you count it as cleared. Or skip the manual path and request the feed fix.
